What customers say?

“ It was a stylish cafe with a great atmosphere. I've been there about three times, and I've always found it to have a calm, comfortable atmosphere. The people working there were also lovely, so I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Itami. ”

“ An exquisitely relaxing space. It's tucked away in an alley about a five-minute walk from Hankyu Itami Station (you'll easily pass it if you're not paying attention), and the sign is hard to find, giving it an unmistakable, hidden cafe feel. As a cafe, the menu and flavors are both satisfying, and it feels surprisingly authentic. I had the bamboo charcoal burger set, and the bun had a unique, crispy texture that was delicious. The interior of the cafe has a unique atmosphere, but perhaps the image on the monitor matched the atmosphere, making for a very relaxing experience. (It's dimly lit, so it might not be for those who prefer simple spaces...) There was an ashtray, so perhaps smoking is permitted. There was a slight cigarette smell, but I'm not particularly sensitive to it, so it didn't bother me, but I recommend non-smokers check whether smoking is permitted before visiting. ”

“ I've been frequenting this place for a few years now. They have a wide selection of menu items, a wide variety of drinks, and delicious food. They're open until midnight, so it's a great place for a second stop when you want to drink coffee and eat cake. They have a variety of seating options, including counter seats, semi-private rooms, and sofa seats. The back is spacious, and they play Ghibli movies on a projector, so many of my friends call it the Ghibli Cafe. lol The owner is often mistaken for being unfriendly, but he's actually quite fun to talk to. I thought he was a scary guy at first, too... lol Oh, I recommend the anchovy butter potatoes and canelés! (The canelés are "crispy and chewy" and better than the mediocre specialty shops. ←) They also offer takeout, so I sometimes bring some home and enjoy a home cafe. ︎ It's a really relaxing place, and it's my favorite cafe in Itami. ”

“ The coffee, cafe lattes, and other drinks are delicious. The interior is a stylish, party-like atmosphere, and there are both high-backed chairs and low-backed tables, making it a fun place to hang out. The partitions are spaced apart, so those who are sensitive might find them a little bothersome, but I guess that's to be expected when using a cafe. The menu features a lot of Italian dishes, and although they're a little heavy, they've received good reviews. This time I used the cafe, and although the drink menu was extensive and I was unsure what to choose, I enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is great, so perhaps a dessert after dinner would be a good choice? They also had canelés, which are unusual for Itami? They were chewy and crunchy, and delicious, so they would make a great snack with your drink. Thank you for the meal. There was no contracted parking, but there was a paid parking lot next door, and it's cheaper after 5pm, so I recommend coming by car. ”

“ •Location Close to Hankyu Itami station. Excellent cafe tucked into the side of a building. Hard to miss as there is a "Cafe Champroo" sign on wheels in front of the cafe on the sidewalk. •Aesthetic The first impression when walking in was a warm, cozy atmosphere. Lots of wood and mismatched furniture like a hideout where friends go to escape together. Plants and stringed lights around the walls, pictures, little figures on tables and shelves, etc. Really loved the robot head from the Ghibli movie Laputa. The bathrooms were bright and squeaky clean. •Layout The front has a small bar and counter where you can sit and chat with the owner/cook while he's working. The back room is much larger, with 6 or 7 tables. The wall furthest from the front of the cafe has movies playing on it from a ceiling mounted projector close by. A few speakers on the walls output the movie audio. The audio was loud enough for those watching the movie, but low enough not to hinder any conversation. The tables closest to the screen were lower to the ground with sofas/benches and cushions. Tables further away were standard height. •Food/Drinks I ordered the "竹炭のブラックチーズバーガー" Black Cheeseburger with Bamboo Charcoal Buns (avocado option) and the Non-Alcoholic Peach Oolong Tea. The burger was incredibly juicy with fresh vegetables and avocado. The buns were soft and delicious. It was so good I want to order it again, but I should probably try something different next time. The Peach Oolong Tea was amazing. A little on the sweet side, but the bitterness of the oolong balanced it well. I had 2 since I emptied the first one too quickly. •Service The owner was the only staff there at the time. He let us choose wherever we wanted to sit and patiently waited for us to read the menu before taking our order. He was very professional and friendly. He brought out the food as it was finished. Starting with the drinks, then salad, shrimp appetizer, and finally main dishes. Despite being the only person working, everything came out looking like it had the utmost care and effort put into it. All in all, 11/10! Definitely going back soon! ”

“ I'm always soothed by the delicious food and adorable latte art. ( ᴖ ·̫ ᴖ ) The cakes, which change regularly, are also something to look forward to! No matter what you order, it's delicious, and the relaxing atmosphere is soothing, so be sure to give it a try! ”

“ I visited this place on the recommendation of a friend. I had heard it was a coffee shop, but since I visited after dinner, it felt more like a restaurant. The interior has a slightly strange atmosphere, but it smells a little Italian and makes you want to eat something. This time, they only served alcohol, but I would like to come back for a meal. Also worth mentioning is that, unusually, smoking is allowed, but the clientele is mostly girls' get-togethers. It's a place where women can have fun together in large groups, enjoying alcohol, food, and sweets. But for some reason, it's not an atmosphere that makes it difficult for older men to enter. It's a place with a strange atmosphere, but it has added to my repertoire. ”
